Two Viennese hotels have reached the very top of the international hospitality scene: Superbude Vienna, part of the emerging “Prater Glacis” district development by IG Immobilien, has been awarded together with its neighboring hotel Zoku with the prestigious title of the world’s most innovative hotel product.
The award ceremony took place on June 8 against the glamorous backdrop of Miami Beach, where leading figures of the international real estate community came together.
The highly respected jury particularly praised Superbude Vienna’s pioneering approach to community integration, neighborhood networking, and its consistent use of sustainable upcycling elements. Opened in 2021, the hotel features 178 uniquely designed rooms, the iconic NENI am Prater rooftop restaurant, and the popular all-day breakfast café BRENNER. With frequent live concerts and cultural happenings, Superbude Vienna has become not only a hotspot for international travelers but also a vibrant meeting place for locals.
For the Superbude team, the award carries a very special meaning. Being recognized as a pioneer in the global hospitality industry strengthens both the leadership and the entire crew in their mission to deliver extraordinary hospitality and sustainable innovation.
The brand Superbude is already well established in Hamburg with three successful locations, each offering a unique overnight experience. Building on this success, the company is continuously exploring new opportunities to bring the Superbude concept to more exciting destinations.
